Established in 1995, Mercantile Communications Pvt Ltd is a pioneer in the field of electronic mail and Internet access in Nepal. This is an offshoot of the e-mail division of Mercantile Office Systems. It is the largest ISP in Nepal with the largest customer base and most number of POP in Nepal. At the present it provides online full Internet access via its two leased satellite circuits to Singapore and Mumbai. It is currently expanding its point of presence to all major cities in Nepal.
